Dr. Cloutier earned his dental degree at the University of Illinois before he completed a general practice residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Afterward, he became an associate clinical professor in the Yale New Haven Hospital dental department, where he taught for many years.
Dr. Cloutier is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) as well as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He holds membership in the Pierre Fauchard Society, OKU (National Honorary Dental Society), and Connecticut’s Horace Wells Society. He is also a longtime member of the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
Dr. Cloutier has been actively involved in dental organizations for many years. He has served as president of both the New Haven Dental Association and the Connecticut State Dental Association. He has also represented Connecticut at the national level. Throughout the years, he has generously volunteered his time to provide services for Yale New Haven Hospital, Hill Health Center, Columbus House, and Missions of Mercy. His dedication to helping others continues to this day; he still participates in short-term dental missions throughout the world. He has been featured as one of Connecticut’s top dentists in Connecticut Magazine as well as other local and regional publications.
